Imagine this:
You're interviewing me, and ask about my strengths.
I could simply say, "I'm relentless and determined, never giving up until I achieve my goals."
But let me paint a more vivid picture for you:
"Since I was a young girl I knew I wanted to be a doctor. I was certain I could score a high GPA for med school, but after the 1st failed attempt, I realized it's not going to be so easy. I decided I'm not giving up, and after 11 additional attempts I did it".
Stories have the power to illustrate our character in action, making them a compelling, persuasive and a memorable tool to demonstrate our qualities and capabilities.
Effectively incorporating storytelling into your job interviews will help you stand out from other candidates, and the good news is that with the right guidance and practice, anyone can make it.
Let's do it :)
